Playing 4 Change Volunteer Undergraduate Research Assistant Opportunity
Job Description
We are seeking volunteer Research Assistants (RAs) for the upcoming Fall 25 semester and onwards! RAs will assist the delivery of a video game intervention program focused on aggression prevention in youth (9-12 years old). Responsibilities include fieldwork in schools, managing training sessions, and data collection. Previous research experience is a plus, but not required. We encourage those interested in working with children or video games to apply!
Time commitment:
We expect RAs to participate in the lab for approximately 6-8 hours/week, with a 1-year commitment. A majority of this time is fulfilled by attending our school sites. We will provide transportation for all RAs. We are currently looking for additional research assistants to support the Wednesday shift.
Outlined below are the times we will be off campus visiting our school sites. (The time indicates when we leave the Berkeley campus and when we return):
- Mondays: 1:15pm-5:00pm
- Tuesdays: 1:15pm-5:00pm
- Wednesdays: 11:45am-3:15pm
- Thursdays: 1:15pm-5:00pm
